Introducing our Family

Window on our world - This is meant to be a little window, giving you glimpses into our family life. These first photos are professional pictures, and should not to be taken too seriously. In other words, if you saw us in real life you would not recognize us from these pictures - thanks to our gifted photographer.

The four boys - here they are in all of their glory. They are wonderful, loving, boisterous, rambunctious, curious, cuddly, interesting, and full of life. They are God's greatest gifts to us and we love them.

Ethan is seven and he may be our future accountant. He is organized and is currently very interested in money. He loves to count it, handle it, and collect it. However, he is never greedy and shares everything he buys with his brothers. If he buys a pack of gum he will inevitably give almost the whole pack away. He is very kind. He also loves sports. He is a great oldest brother to three other boys.

Edmund is our sparkly little five year old. He is curious and creative. He loves to invent, to build, and to imagine. Edmund keeps the boys moving from activity to activity. Sometimes we have to be careful about the materials he uses in construction. Recently we found him taping a railroad track to the ceiling made of a roll of Kyle's Glide Floss that extended from ceiling to floor and across the kitchen.

Warren is three, almost four, and he is our little Frenchman. He enjoys cooking and eating good food (macaroni and cheese and ants on a log). He is exacting about cleanliness and has lots of time for naps and cuddling. Warren has an adorable laugh. We will have to post a sound byte soon.

Wesley is almost two and is very, very energetic. His vocabulary, unfortunately, is mainly limited to the word "no." Recently, he added his own variation on the words "I don't know" (I d'n no). "Wesley, where are your shoes?" "I d'n no." "Wesley where is your coat?" "I d'n no." "Wesley where are your pants?" "I d'n no." He has climbed almost every object in the house (mobile and immobile) and has hit his head so many times we don't count any more. We will see later in life if this has affected him very much (his future wife will probably let us know). He is also very sweet, gives great hugs, kisses, and pats and is adored by all of us.
